Comparison between Current and earlier education system.

WHAT IS EDUCATION?
Education means holistic development of a learner it is necessary to achievement of academic ladder. In other words it is overall development of a personality. It is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at an educational institute. Education is the only thing that helps us to differentiate what is right and what is wrong .The real education is a journey from converting the Human Being in to Being Human. Unless the education makes you a good human being it is of no use. Education is not only what we learn in school or college. Everything we learn in life is also education. Education is the basic thing in every one's life. Everyone must acquire the basic education to live in this society. Education is learning about anything, understanding it in way to be able to use it practically, and have good moral values to use the knowledge for good…
Differences between Traditional and Modern
Differences between Traditional and Modern Education can be both associated with a partial method of instruction and learning, which is only limited to the resources at hand. Though more cost-effective, it is a restricted method of thinking, allowing the learner  only to learn at the pace of their better counterparts and instructors, and has created the need for a better alternative unwrapped by the dawn of a technological and experimental method which is the modern educational system. Each learner can learn in relation to his natural innate strength and speed, albeit untested and not completely proven.
Traditional education is defined as teacher-centered delivery of instruction to classes of students who are the receivers of information. Traditional schools generally stress basic educational practices and expect mastery of academic learning in the core subjects of math, reading, writing, science and social studies
Traditional education only ensures the transition of a cliché; a stereotyped manner of learning in which nothing new is discovered because the information-gathering means is absent and at the same time, no data is present to collate pre-existing observations and thus, the same kind of knowledge and thought is transferred.
In modern education, information from observations with regards to any issue no matter how old or distant it may be can be obtained using the internet. One of the shortcomings of the modern education system is that it tends to be somehow expensive.
Traditional education system often needs the physical presence of a teacher which may not be necessary for the modern education system. Likewise, the traditional educational system seems to isolate the learner from the society, constricting their interactions to only their environment and physical neighborhood with a common routine and conventional approach to disseminate information which the modern education rather defeat by exploiting the use of technological gadgets, textbooks and other diagrammatic materials in exposing the learner to a worldwide view of learning.

Purpose of Education
There is no broad consensus as to what education's chief aim or aims are or should be. Some authors stress its value to the individual, emphasizing its potential for positively influencing students' personal development, promoting autonomy, forming a cultural identity or establishing a career or occupation. Other authors emphasize education's contributions to societal purposes, including good citizenship, shaping students into productive members of society, thereby promoting society's general economic development, and preserving cultural values
